So you just got your new Android phone, You add some contacts to the phone, make a few calls. Later you find that all the calls you made are listed in the call log.
So you decide to remove the one call from Joe Testcase for what ever reason you dont want it listed. After removing the call you quicly find out that the Android Dialer has a second tab that keeps track of calls made the Favorites tab.
For some odd reason the the makers of Android decided that everyone you call is a favorite person even if it is your ex-girlfriend or ex-boyfriend. Yes the favorites tab logs all calls from and to people in your phone book if you call this person once and what is worse is you cant remove these calls. This is where LogAssistPro comes along.
When you first run LogAssistPro you will be presented with a screen listing all the people in your Android Phone book. by placing a check mark next to each of the contacts you dont want listed, LogAssistPro Will remove the name of the selected contacts from the CallLog and the Favorites tab autmaticlly after each call. Or you can choose to run LogAssist manually when ever you please take a look at the screen shots below.
When Clear All Now is clicked LogAssist will run and remove the selected names from the logs. Now take a look at the logs after LogAssist ran.
As you can see both names that were selected in LogAssistPro where removed from the call log. As well as the Favorites tab.
But you say well I have numbers that are not in my phone book that I want not showing up in my Call Log will LogAssist do that? Yes it will, When in log assist Clicking on menu then Add Number allows you to have LogAssistPro remove numbers that you enter with having to manually remove them from the calllog one at a time by hand .
